सीतावृत्तान्तनिवेदनम् / Report of Sītā’s Condition and Tokens of Recognition
विज्ञाप्यश्च नरव्याघ्रो रामो वायुसुत त्वया।अखिलेनेह यद्धृष्टमिति मामाह जानकी।।।।
vijñāpyaś ca naravyāghro rāmo vāyusuta tvayā |
akhileneha yad dṛṣṭam iti mām āha jānakī ||
Janaki said to me: “O son of the Wind, you must inform Rama—the tiger among men—of everything you have seen here.”
(She said)'O son of the Wind-god! you should let Rama, the tiger among men know all that you have seen here.
The messenger’s dharma is satya and completeness: Hanuman must report “all that was seen,” avoiding distortion, omission, or exaggeration.
Sita instructs Hanuman to deliver a full, eyewitness report to Rama after their meeting in Lanka.
Sita’s clarity and moral seriousness: she insists on truthful, comprehensive communication as the basis for right action.
