राक्षसेन्द्रनिवेशनविचारः (Survey of Ravana’s Residence and Lanka’s Inner Quarters)

आससादाथ लक्ष्मीवान्राक्षसेन्द्रनिवेशनम्।प्राकारेणार्कवर्णेन भास्वरेणाभिसम्वृतम्।।।।

Transliteration

mahodarasya ca gṛhaṃ virūpākṣasya caiva hi |

vidyujjihvasya bhavanaṃ vidyunmāles tathaiva ca ||5.6.19||

vajradaṃṣṭrasya ca tathā pupluve sa mahākapiḥ |

Translation

The great monkey leapt on—past Mahodara’s house and indeed Virūpākṣa’s, then to Vidyujjihva’s dwelling, likewise to Vidyunmālī’s, and so also to Vajradaṃṣṭra’s.

Then he reached the residence of the lord of demons enclosed by a red colour compound wall dazzling like the midday Sun.
