Rejoicing and eager to behold Hanumān, they sprang from treetop to treetop, and from mountain-peak to mountain-peak.

The vanaras were very happy. Longing to see Hanuman, they jumped from one tree top to another and from one peak of a mountain to the other.

Dharma is supportive companionship: the community actively comes forward to welcome the one who bore responsibility for their righteous mission.

The vānaras physically scramble across trees and peaks to get the first sight of Hanumān returning.

Suhṛt-bhāva (true friendship): their eagerness shows affectionate solidarity with the messenger.
