ते दीनमनसस्सर्वे शुश्रुवुः काननौकसः।।।।वानरेन्द्रस्य निर्घोषं पर्जन्यनिनदोपमम्।

Transliteration

te dīna-manasaḥ sarve śuśruvuḥ kānanaukasaḥ |

vānarendrasya nirghoṣaṃ parjanya-ninadopamam ||

Translation

All those forest-dwelling vānaras, heavy at heart, heard the mighty roar of their lord—like the rumbling of thunderclouds.
