सर्वेषामेव पर्याप्तो राक्षसानामहं युधि।।5.53.13।।किंतु रामस्य प्रीत्यर्थं विषहिष्येऽहमीदृशम्।लङ्का चारयितव्या वै पुनरेव भवेदिति।।5.53.14।।

Transliteration

sarveṣām eva paryāpto rākṣasānām ahaṁ yudhi | kiṁtu rāmasya prītyarthaṁ viṣahiṣye ’ham īdṛśam ||5.53.13||

Translation

In battle I am sufficient to face all these rākṣasas; yet, for Rāma’s satisfaction, I will endure even such humiliation.

Context

'I am strong enough to destroy all the demons in a battle. I am enduring this humiliation in order to make Rama happy. In this way I will get a chance to see Lanka once again.
