ततः प्रियान् प्राप्य मनोभिरामाः सुप्रीतियुक्ताः प्रसमीक्ष्यरामाः।गृहेषु हृष्टाः परमाभिरामाः हरिप्रवीरः स ददर्श रामाः।।5.5.21।।
tataḥ priyān prāpya manobhirāmāḥ suprīti-yuktāḥ prasamīkṣya rāmāḥ | gṛheṣu hṛṣṭāḥ paramābhirāmāḥ hari-pravīraḥ sa dadarśa rāmāḥ ||5.5.21||
Then the heroic monkey beheld those women, delightful to the mind, who, having attained their beloveds, were filled with gladness and rejoiced within their homes.
That heroic monkey saw ogresses delighted in the happy company of their loved ones who have joined them, ecstatic wives in the houses.
The verse sets up a moral contrast: ordinary domestic happiness is visible everywhere, yet Sītā’s dharmic fidelity and suffering in separation remain unresolved—driving the urgency of righteous action.
Hanumān continues his search through residences, observing couples enjoying reunion and household joy.
Perseverance: despite seeing many distractions, Hanumān does not abandon the search.
