इन्द्रजित्प्रेषणम्—ब्रह्मास्त्रबन्धः, हनूमद्ग्रहणं, रावणसभाप्रवेशः (Indrajit’s Deployment—Brahmāstra Binding, Hanuman’s Capture, Entry into Ravana’s Court)
ततस्तु लक्ष्ये स विहन्यमाने शरेष्वमोघेषु च संपतत्सु।जगाम चिन्तां महतीं महात्मा समाधिसंयोगसमाहितात्मा।।।।
tatastu lakṣye sa vihanyamāne śareṣv amogheṣu ca saṃpatatsu | jagāma cintāṃ mahatīṃ mahātmā samādhisaṃyogasamāhitātmā ||
Then, as his target kept slipping away and even his unfailing arrows flew forth in vain, the great warrior fell into deep reflection, his mind gathered into concentrated contemplation.
Indrajit's infallible arrows missed Hanuman. Then the great warrior became perplexed and started thinking seriously within himself entering into a reflective mood.
Buddhi guided by reality: when force fails, one must reflect and choose proportionate means; Dharma includes thoughtful restraint and strategic clarity.
Indrajit sees that even his sure shots are not achieving the intended effect; he pauses inwardly to consider a new course.
Buddhi and saṃyama (mental control): the warrior gathers himself and thinks rather than acting blindly.
