Then the son of the Wind approached a śāla tree, tore it up, and with it struck down those two heroic rākṣasas.

Then the son of the Wind-god seized a sala tree uprooted it, lifted it and smashed the two giant generals with it.

Dharma here appears as decisive action in defense of a righteous task. Force is portrayed as legitimate when used to counter violent obstruction of a just cause.

After being attacked, Hanumān uproots a śāla tree and uses it as a weapon to kill Virūpākṣa and Yūpākṣa.

Resourcefulness and strength under pressure—Hanumān converts the environment into a means to complete his duty.
