If I do not speak, Vaidehī may abandon the breath of life; yet to speak to Sītā also brings grave danger upon me—this is the great fault I must weigh in addressing her.
"If I talk to Vaidehi it will be a great mistake on my part.If I do not speak to Vaidehi she may give up her life.
Dharma balances compassion with caution: Hanumān recognizes a moral urgency to preserve Sītā’s life, yet must communicate in a way that does not cause harm or suspicion.
Hanumān has found Sītā in Aśoka-vana and debates whether to speak immediately, fearing both the danger of silence and the danger of alarming her.
Compassion guided by discretion: he feels responsibility for Sītā’s survival while planning a safe approach.
