हनुमता सीतासंवादोपायचिन्ता — Hanuman’s Deliberation on How to Address Sita

अवेक्षमाणस्तां देवीं देवतामिव नन्दने।ततो बहुविधां चिन्तां चिन्तयामास वानरः।।।।

avaśyam eva vaktavyaṃ mānuṣaṃ vākyam arthavat | mayā sāntvayituṃ śakyā nānyathā iyam aninditā ||

Therefore I must certainly speak meaningful words in human speech; only thus can I console this blameless lady—there is no other way.

The sight of Sita who seemed a deity in the Nandana garden of Indra, set a chain of reflections in his mind :

S
Sītā (implied by aninditā)

Right speech (satya with hita): truthful communication must also be meaningful and consoling; the aim is to uphold truth while healing distress.

Hanumān resolves to speak in a more accessible, reassuring register so that Sītā can accept his words without fear.

Clarity of purpose and benevolence—he commits to speech that serves Sītā’s welfare rather than showcasing learning.
