अशोकवनिकायां सीतादर्शनम् (Sita Seen in the Ashoka Grove)

एवं सीतां तदा दृष्ट्वा हृष्टः पवनसम्भवः।जगाम मनसा रामं प्रशशंस च तं प्रभुम्।।।।

evaṃ sītāṃ tadā dṛṣṭvā hṛṣṭaḥ pavana-sambhavaḥ | jagāma manasā rāmaṃ praśaśaṃsa ca taṃ prabhum ||

Thus, having then seen Sītā, the son of the Wind-god rejoiced; in his mind he went at once to Rāma and praised that Lord.

On seeing Sita, the son of the Wind-god, felt glad at heart and mentally reached Rama the lord of the world. Hanuman was full of praise for Rama.ityārṣē śrīmadrāmāyaṇē vālmīkīya ādikāvyē sundarakāṇḍē pañcadaśassargaḥ.Thus ends the fifteenth sarga in Sundarakanda of the holy Ramayana, the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.

Pavana (Wind-god)

Rāma

Hanumān’s joy and immediate mental turning toward Rāma show steadfast service to a righteous cause: locating Sītā is not mere success, but a dharmic step toward restoring justice and right order.

By praising Rāma upon truly seeing Sītā, Hanumān inwardly confirms the truth of his mission and prepares to report faithfully—his mental ‘reaching’ Rāma signals commitment to truthful communication and loyal witness.
