समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः — Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
स नानाकुसुमैः कीर्णः कपिः साङ्कुरकोरकैः।शुशुभे मेघसङ्काशः खद्योतैरिव पर्वतः।।।।
sa nānākusumaiḥ kīrṇaḥ kapiḥ sāṅkurakorakaiḥ |
śuśubhe meghasaṅkāśaḥ khadyotair iva parvataḥ ||
Strewn with many kinds of flowers, with sprouts and buds, the monkey shone—cloud-like—like a mountain glittering with fireflies.
Covered with tender sprouts and buds of different kinds of flowers Hanuman shone brightly like a flying mountain with fireflies.
Dharma is luminous when embodied: the imagery suggests that righteous endeavor ‘shines’—it becomes visible and inspiring to the world.
Hanumān continues his flight, covered in blossoms and buds swept up from the mountain, appearing like a radiant moving mass in the sky.
Tejas—radiant energy that arises from disciplined strength and truthful purpose.
