समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः — Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing

स तां बुद्ध्वार्थतत्त्वेन सिंहिकां मतिमान्कपिः।।।।व्यवर्धत महाकायः प्रावृषीव वलाहकः।

sa tāṃ buddhvārthatattvena siṃhikāṃ matimān kapiḥ |

vyavardhata mahākāyaḥ prāvṛṣīva valāhakaḥ ||

Understanding Siṃhikā’s true intent, the intelligent monkey expanded into a gigantic form, like a cloud swelling in the rainy season.

Recognising the true nature of Simhika the clutcher of shadows, the wise Hanuman grew to a huge size like a cloud in rainy season.

Dharma permits force when necessary to remove unjust obstruction; Hanuman’s expansion is a measured, mission-protecting response to predatory adharma.

After identifying Simhika, Hanuman deliberately increases his size to counter her and regain freedom of movement.

Tejas (spiritual/heroic energy) guided by buddhi: power is deployed intelligently, not impulsively.
