समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः — Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
स सागरमनाधृष्यमभ्येत्य वरुणालयम्।जगामाकाशमाविश्य वेगेन गरुडोपमः।।।।
sa sāgaram anādhṛṣyam abhyetya varuṇālayam | jagāmākāśam āviśya vegena garuḍopamaḥ ||
Surging past the invincible ocean—the dwelling of Varuṇa—he entered the sky and sped onward with the swiftness of Garuḍa.
Rising above the invincible ocean, the abode of lord Varuna, Hanuman coursed through the sky speedily like Garuda.
Dharma is shown as fearless movement toward a righteous goal: obstacles, however formidable, are crossed when one is committed to truth and duty.
Hanumān launches into his aerial passage, crossing the ocean on the way to Laṅkā in search of Sītā.
Valor joined with purpose—his speed and power are directed toward a moral mission, not mere display.
