Shloka 5.1.168

समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः — Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing

सोऽभिपत्याशु तद्वक्त्रं निष्पत्य च महाबलः।अन्तरिक्षे स्थितः श्रीमानिदं वचनमब्रवीत्।।।।

so 'bhipatyāśu tad vaktraṃ niṣpatya ca mahābalaḥ | antarikṣe sthitaḥ śrīmān idaṃ vacanam abravīt ||

The mighty and glorious one swiftly darted into her mouth and, leaping back out, hovered in the sky and spoke these words.

Glorious and mighty Hanuman quickly went into her mouth and got out and stood in the sky and said:.

Dharma is fulfilling a condition without violence or deceit: Hanumān satisfies the test’s literal demand (entering the mouth) while preserving his higher duty to continue the quest.

Hanumān executes his plan—entering Surasā’s mouth and exiting instantly—then prepares to formally address her.

Presence of mind (pratyutpanna-mati): swift, correct action under pressure.
