Shloka 5.1.110

समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः — Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing

तमाकाशगतं वीरमाकाशे समुपस्थितः।।।।प्रीतो हृष्टमाना वाक्यमब्रवीत्पर्वतः कपिम्।मानुषं धारयन् रूपमात्मनः शिखरे स्थितः।।।।

tam ākāśagataṁ vīram ākāśe samupasthitaḥ | prīto hṛṣṭamānā vākyam abravīt parvataḥ kapim | mānuṣaṁ dhārayan rūpam ātmanaḥ śikhare sthitaḥ ||

Then the mountain, glad at heart, drew near to the heroic monkey in mid-sky; assuming a human form and standing upon his own summit, he spoke to him.

Now the mountain assumed a human form and standing on its own summit, which stood very high, and glad at heart, addressed the heroic vanara gone to the aerial region.
