Shloka 4.52.11

स्वयंप्रभा-संवादः (Svayamprabha’s Dialogue with the Vanaras)

चारयन्तस्ततश्चक्षुर्दृष्टवन्तो वयं बिलम्।लतापादपसञ्च्छन्नं तिमिरेण समावृतम्।।।।

cārayantas tataś cakṣur dṛṣṭavanto vayaṃ bilam | latāpādapasañchannaṃ timireṇa samāvṛtam ||

Then, as we cast our eyes about, we saw a cave—hidden by vines and trees, and covered over with darkness.

'Then while we were looking around we saw this cave concealed by trees and vines, with darkness spread all over.

Dharma in action appears as vigilance and sustained effort: even in fear and fatigue, they continue to search and observe carefully.

While searching, the monkeys discover a dark, concealed cave that becomes central to their subsequent ordeal and encounter with Svayaṃprabhā.
