हनूमत्प्रशंसा–अङ्गुलीयकप्रदानम् (Praise of Hanumān and the Gift of the Signet Ring)
न भूमौ नान्तरिक्षे वा नाम्बरे नामरालये।नाप्सु वा गतिसङ्गं ते पश्यामि हरिपुङ्गव।।4.44.3।।
na bhūmau nāntarikṣe vā nāmbare nāmarālaye |
nāpsu vā gatisaṅgaṃ te paśyāmi haripuṅgava || 4.44.3 ||
O best of monkeys, I see none who can match your swiftness—neither on earth, nor in the mid-air, nor in the sky, nor in the abode of the immortals, nor even in the waters.
'O best of monkeys! I scarcely see a hero comparable to your speed on earth or in space or sky or heaven or water.
Dharma here is truthful recognition of merit: Rama openly acknowledges Hanuman’s exceptional capability, modeling fair judgment and respect for competence.
Rama, preparing for Sita’s search, evaluates Hanuman’s abilities and expresses confidence that no one equals his speed across realms.
Hanuman’s extraordinary prowess (especially speed and mobility), and Rama’s discernment in identifying the right agent for a mission.
