There, a great energy born of anger was formed into the Horse-Head, Hayamukha. It is said that the entire universe, comprising both moving and unmoving beings, serves as food for that swift-moving entity.
'Here is born Hayamukha, out of the fast-spreading fire of anger of the ocean. Its movable and immovable creatures constitute his food.
Hayamukha refers to the submarine fire (Vadavanala) shaped like a horse's head, which exists in the ocean and is believed to consume the waters to maintain ecological balance.
It signifies that the fire is capable of consuming everything in the universe, including both moving (animate) and unmoving (inanimate) entities, highlighting its destructive potential.
