Shloka 4.40.15

पूर्वदिशि सीतामार्गण-नियोगः (Deployment to the Eastern Quarter for the Search of Sita)

सुहृद्वितीयो विक्रान्तः प्राज्ञः कालविशेषवित्।भवानस्मध्दिते युक्त स्सुकृतार्थोऽर्थवित्तमः।।4.40.15।।

tvam evājñāpaya vibho mama kārya-viniścayam | tvaṃ hi jānāsi yat kāryaṃ mama vīra na saṃśayaḥ || 4.40.14 ||

You alone, O mighty one, should issue the commands that settle my course of action; for you know what must be done for me, O hero—there is no doubt.

'You are my second friend (Lakshmana being the first). You are valiant as well as wise. You are aware of timely action. You are interested in my well-being. You are capable. You know my purpose. You are a startegic planner'. (The present purpose is to plan the course of action. That is artha. Sugriva knows this artha very well).
