tataḥ prahṛṣṭo hanumān kṛtyavān iti tad-vacaḥ | śrutvā madhura-sambhāṣaṃ sugrīvaṃ manasā gataḥ ||
Then Hanumān, delighted that his task was fulfilled, having heard those sweet words, turned his mind toward Sugrīva to report and proceed.
After listening to the sweet words of Lakshmana, Hanuman, having done what he had to do felt happy and thought of Sugriva.
Dharma as faithful service: Hanumān measures success by completion of duty and proceeds responsibly to inform his king.
After speaking with Rāma’s party (and receiving reassuring words), Hanumān prepares mentally to return to Sugrīva with the development.
Kṛtya-parāyaṇatā (commitment to assigned duty) along with humility and clarity of purpose.
