ताराविलापः — Tara’s Lament over Vāli

व्यक्तमन्या त्वया वीर धर्मत: सम्प्रवर्तिता।किष्किन्धेव पुरी रम्या स्वर्गमार्गे विनिर्मिता4.20.7।।

Transliteration

vyaktam anyā tvayā vīra dharmataḥ sampravartitā | kiṣkindhevā purī ramyā svargamārge vinirmitā || 4.20.7 ||

Translation

Clearly, O hero, you have set out righteously on another path—having built for yourself a delightful city like Kiṣkindhā upon the road to heaven.

'O my heroic husband, you are the legitimate, righteous king of Kiskinda. You have evidently built another beautiful city Kiskinda on your way to heaven.
