yadi dṛṣṭi-pathaṃ prāpto jīvan sa vinivartate | tato doṣeṇa mā gacchet sadyo garhec ca mā bhavān ||
If he comes within my sight, he will not return alive; then you will not at once reproach me or charge me with blame.
'If Vali appears before me I will not let him go with life.Then you will not blame me and find fault with me.
