विश्वामित्रस्य ब्राह्मर्षित्वप्राप्तिः — Viśvāmitra Attains Brahmarṣi Status
बुद्धिं न कुरुते यावन्नाशे देव महामुनि:।तावत्प्रसाद्यो भगवा नग्निरूपोमहाद्युति:।।।।
buddhiṃ na kurute yāvan nāśe deva mahāmuniḥ | tāvat prasādyo bhagavān agnirūpo mahādyutiḥ ||
O Lord, before that mighty sage—venerable, fire-like, and intensely radiant—turns his resolve toward destruction, he must be appeased.
O Lord! before this mighty, venerable ascetic, effulgent like fire decides to destroy the three worlds, he should be appeased.
Dharma favors prevention over catastrophe: wise leaders should pacify righteous-but-wrathful power before it turns harmful.
The gods urge immediate appeasement of Viśvāmitra before he decides upon a destructive course.
