शुनश्शेफरक्षा–विश्वामित्रशापः (Sunassepha’s Rescue and Visvamitra’s Curse)
स च राजा नरश्रेष्ठ यज्ञस्य च समाप्तवान्।फलं बहुगुणं राम सहस्राक्षप्रसादजम्।।।।
sa ca rājā naraśreṣṭha yajñasya ca samāptavān | phalaṃ bahuguṇaṃ rāma sahasrākṣaprasādajam ||
And that king, O best of men—O Rāma—completed the sacrifice, receiving its reward manifold, born of Indra’s grace.
O Foremost of men! O Rama! the king also obtained from the sacrifics innumerable rewards by the grace of Indra several times greater than expected.
Dharma as faithful completion of vowed duty, with the reminder that outcomes are ultimately conditioned by grace and righteousness, not mere human force.
After Indra’s intervention, the king’s sacrifice reaches completion and yields amplified rewards.
Perseverance in pledged action (vrata/saṅkalpa) while acknowledging higher moral order through prasāda.
