It was also filled with elephants of noble lineages—those of Airāvata’s stock, of the Mahāpadma line, and those bred from Anjana and from Vāmana as well.

It was full of intoxicated elephants born in Vindhya mountains, elephants of enormous strength looking like mountains and born in the Himalayas. Elephants of good breed hailing from the family of Airavata (Indra's vehicle), Mahapadma, Anjana and Vamana.

Dharma is implied through the picture of ordered prosperity: noble resources (fine elephant breeds) are part of a well-maintained kingdom that can protect and serve society.

The poet specifies renowned elephant lineages to highlight Ayodhyā’s exceptional wealth and royal capacity.

Royal stewardship: the kingdom’s excellence is shown in careful acquisition and maintenance of high-quality assets.
