O Rāma, delight of the Raghus—hearing his words, all the gods felt their purpose fulfilled; bowing down, they worshipped Pitāmaha (Brahmā).

Gratitude and reverence toward rightful authority: when a righteous resolution is obtained, humility and worship (respect) are the proper response.

After Brahmā settles the matter of Skanda’s birth and guardianship, the gods bow to him, satisfied that their mission is accomplished.

Humility: even powerful devas submit respectfully to Brahmā’s truthful guidance.
