Having heard the words of wise Kūśanābha, his hundred daughters touched his feet with their heads and then spoke.
On hearing the words of sagacious Kusanabha, his hundred daughters touched his feet with their heads and said:
Respect for elders and rightful authority: touching the father’s feet signifies humility, gratitude, and adherence to familial dharma.
In Viśvāmitra’s narrative about Kūśanābha’s household, the daughters respond to their father’s counsel by offering reverence and preparing to speak.
Vinaya (humility) and śraddhā (respectful trust) in the daughters’ conduct toward their father.
