ता: कन्या वायुना भग्ना विविशुर्नृपतेर्गृहम्।प्रापतन् भुवि सम्भ्रान्तास्सलज्जा स्सास्रलोचना:।।।।

Transliteration

ṛṣes tu vacanaṃ śrutvā catvāro lokasammatāḥ | niveśaṃ cakrire sarve purāṇāṃ nṛvarās tadā ||

Translation

Having heard the sage’s words, the four princes—honoured by the world—established their dwellings and then founded their cities.

Context

Their bodies disfigured and shattered by the Wind-god, the maidens with tears flowing from their eyes entered the palace and fell down on the ground, agitated and overtaken by shame.
