When the sun had set, those men of great radiance bathed, offered oblations into the sacred fire, and then sat down, placing Viśvāmitra at the fore in honor.

As the night dawned, both the brothers performed the morning rites and approached Viswamitra and other rishis.

Dharma is the faithful performance of twilight rites and honoring the spiritual elder: ritual duty (agni-offering) and social-spiritual order (placing the guru foremost) go together.

At sunset, the group bathes, performs fire-offerings, and then assembles seated with Viśvāmitra in the place of honor.

Reverence and discipline—collective adherence to ritual timing and respectful seating around the leading sage.
