भरद्वाजाश्रमात् चित्रकूटमार्गनिर्देशः — Directions from Bharadvaja’s Hermitage to Chitrakuta

तं ऋषिः पुरुषव्याघ्रं प्राञ्जलिं प्रेक्ष्य चाऽगतम्।हुताग्निहोत्रो भरतं भरद्वाजोऽभ्यभाषत।।2.92.2।।

taṃ ṛṣiḥ puruṣa-vyāghraṃ prāñjaliṃ prekṣya cāgatam | huta-agnihotro bharataṃ bharadvājo 'bhyabhāṣata || 2.92.2 ||

Seeing Bharata—the tiger among men—arrive with folded hands, the sage Bharadvāja, having completed his fire-rites, addressed him.

Seeing Bharata, the best among men, who stood with folded palms, sage Bharadwaja, who had just completed his fire-sacrifice, said to him:

B
Bharadvāja
B
Bharata
A
Agnihotra (fire-rite)

Dharma is twofold: the sage maintains ritual obligation (agnihotra), and the prince approaches with humility—right conduct sustains social-spiritual order.

Bharata arrives at Bharadvāja’s āśrama respectfully; Bharadvāja, after completing worship, begins to speak with him.

Bharata’s reverence and Bharadvāja’s steadfastness in vows and rites—mutual respect between kṣatriya duty and brahminical discipline.
