Shloka 2.92.1

भरद्वाजाश्रमात् चित्रकूटमार्गनिर्देशः — Directions from Bharadvaja’s Hermitage to Chitrakuta

ततस्तां रजनीमुष्य भरतस्सपरिच्छदः। कृतातिथ्यो भरद्वाजं कामादभिजगाम ह।।2.92.1।।

tatas tāṃ rajanīm uṣya bharataḥ sa-paricchadaḥ |

kṛtātithyo bharadvājaṃ kāmād abhijagāma ha ||

Then, after spending that night and receiving hospitality, Bharata, together with his attendants, approached Bharadvāja with a purpose in mind.

Bharata with his retinue received the hospitality and spent the night at Bharadwaja's ashram. Then he approached Bharadwaja on his own.

Respectful conduct toward sages and elders: after receiving hospitality, Bharata approaches properly, indicating gratitude, humility, and purposefulness.

After the night at the hermitage, Bharata goes to Bharadvāja to ask for guidance (leading toward directions to Rāma).

Bharata’s humility and earnestness—he seeks counsel through proper channels rather than acting rashly.
