भरद्वाजाश्रमे भरतसैन्यस्य दिव्यात्मिथ्यम् / Divine Hospitality to Bharata’s Army at Bharadvaja’s Hermitage

राज्ञा च भगवन्नित्यं राजपुत्रेण वा सदा।यत्नतः परिहर्तव्या विषयेषु तपस्विनः।।।।

babhūvur vanapārśveṣu kūpāḥ pāyasakardamāḥ |

tāś ca kāmadughā gāvo drumāś cāsan madhuścyutaḥ ||

Along the forest’s edge, wells appeared brimming with thick, sweet payāsa; there were wish-fulfilling cows, and trees that dripped with honey.

O venerable one a king or a prince ought to intentionally avoid those places occupied by ascetics.

F
forest edge (vanapārśva)
W
wells (kūpāḥ)
P
payāsa
W
wish-fulfilling cows (kāmadughā gāvaḥ)
H
honey-dripping trees (madhuscyuta drumāḥ)

The imagery links dharmic order with prosperity: when righteousness prevails, nature and resources seem to cooperate in sustaining society.

The narrator describes extraordinary, almost miraculous abundance arranged/manifest near the forest boundary for those present.

Auspicious stewardship—creating (or being worthy of) conditions where sustenance is plentiful and accessible.
