भरद्वाजाश्रमे भरतसैन्यस्य दिव्यात्मिथ्यम् / Divine Hospitality to Bharata’s Army at Bharadvaja’s Hermitage
मनसा ध्यायतस्तस्य प्राङ्मुखस्य कृताञ्जलेः।आजग्मुस्तानि सर्वाणि दैवतानि पृथक्पृथक्।।।।
manasā dhyāyatas tasya prāṅmukhasya kṛtāñjaleḥ | ājagmus tāni sarvāṇi daivatāni pṛthak pṛthak ||
As he meditated within his mind, facing east with hands joined in reverence, all those deities arrived—each in turn.
As Bharadwaja with folded palms was thus meditating with his face turned eastward, all the deities appeared there one by one.
Dharma as disciplined devotion: respectful posture, orientation, and mental focus symbolize sincerity and truthfulness of intent (satya-saṅkalpa).
Bharadvāja’s invocation succeeds; the gods respond and appear sequentially to support the hospitality he is arranging.
Reverence and concentration—his inner steadiness draws divine cooperation.
