अयोध्याकाण्डे त्र्यशीति तमः सर्गः — Bharata’s Departure and Encampment on the Gaṅgā (Śṛṅgīberapura)
कैकेयी च सुमित्रा च कौसल्या च यशस्विनी।रामानयनसंहृष्टा ययुर्यानेन भास्वता।।2.83.6।।
kaikeyī ca sumitrā ca kausalyā ca yaśasvinī |
rāmānayana-saṃhṛṣṭā yayur yānena bhāsvatā || 2.83.6 ||
Kaikeyī, Sumitrā, and the illustrious Kausalyā traveled in a shining conveyance, uplifted at the hope of bringing Rāma back.
Kaikeyi, Sumitra as well as the illustrious Kausalya travelled by a resplendent chariot, delighted with the thought of bringing Rama back.
Restoration of rightful harmony: the queens’ movement toward Rāma underscores a dharmic impulse to heal rupture in the royal household and re-align with righteousness.
The three queens accompany the expedition, sharing the collective hope that Rāma will return from exile.
