Hearing those words, filled with dharma, all the members of the assembly—fixing their minds on Rāma—shed tears of joy.
Hearing the words of Bharata full of righteousness, all the men assembled there shed tears of joy, thinking of Rama.
Dharma inspires shared moral consensus: when righteous speech is heard, the community’s heart turns toward the rightful good (Rāma) and responds with purification and relief.
After Bharata’s declaration of loyalty to Rāma, the court collectively reacts with emotional approval and renewed focus on Rāma.
Communal discernment: the assembly recognizes dhārmic intent and aligns itself with rightful kingship.
