It underscores reliance on rightful guardianship and duty within family order: Bharata feels that the moral structure (entrustment to Rāma) has been broken by Rāma’s exile and Daśaratha’s death.
Bharata, at Daśaratha’s pyre-site, speaks as if to his father, lamenting that Rāma—his moral anchor—has been sent away.
Bharata’s loyalty to Rāma and his dependence on dharmic order rather than personal ambition.
