शब्दवेध्य-अनर्थः, ऋषिशापः, दशरथस्य प्राणत्यागः (The Sound-Target Tragedy, the Sage’s Curse, and Dasaratha’s Death)
एवमुक्त्वा तु दिव्येन विमानेन वपुष्मता।आरुरोह दिवं क्षिप्रं मुनिपुत्रो जितेन्द्रियः।।।।
evam uktvā tu divyena vimānena vapuṣmatā | āruroha divaṃ kṣipraṃ muniputro jitendriyaḥ ||
Having spoken thus, the sage’s son—master of his senses—swiftly rose to heaven in a radiant, celestial aerial chariot.
The sage's son with his senses under control said this while ascending heaven on a beautiful, celestial, aerial chariot.
Inner discipline (self-mastery) is aligned with dharma and is portrayed as compatible with spiritual ascent and purity of destiny.
After reassuring his parents, the ascetic’s son departs to heaven in a celestial vimāna.
