After partaking of the remaining sacrificial oblation, he prayed for his own welfare; and, meditating on Lord Nārāyaṇa, he lay down upon a well-spread bed of kuśa grass.
The city was filled with villagers coming from different directions to behold Rama's coronation.
Dharma is shown as disciplined, reverent living: sacred observance (havis), prayer for well-being, and inward recollection of the divine before rest.
On the eve of the coronation rites, Rāma completes a ritual act, prays, meditates on Nārāyaṇa, and prepares himself with restraint and sanctity.
Self-discipline and devotion—Rāma’s readiness for public duty is grounded in private spiritual practice.
