भरद्वाजाश्रमप्राप्तिः — Arrival at Bharadvāja’s Hermitage and Counsel toward Citrakūṭa
प्रतिगृह्य च तामर्चामुपविष्टं स राघवम्।भरद्वाजोऽब्रवीद्वाक्यं धर्मयुक्तमिदं तदा।।।।
pratigṛhya ca tām arcām upaviṣṭaṃ sa rāghavam | bharadvājo ’bravīd vākyaṃ dharmayuktam idaṃ tadā ||
After accepting that hospitality and sitting down, Rāghava was then addressed by Bharadvāja in words aligned with dharma.
Rama accepted the hospitality of Bharadwaja and took a seat in front of the sage, who spoke to him these words in conformity with righteousness:
Dharma is expressed through proper reception and righteous speech: hospitality is received with humility, and counsel is given in a dharma-consistent manner.
Rāma, arriving at Bharadvāja’s āśrama during exile, accepts the sage’s hospitality and sits before him to hear guidance.
Bharadvāja’s virtue of dhārmika counsel (righteous guidance) and Rāma’s humility in accepting āśrama hospitality.
