Shloka 2.50.47

गङ्गादर्शनम् तथा गुहसमागमः (Vision of the Gaṅgā and Meeting with Guha)

अश्वानां प्रतिपानं च खादनं चैव सोऽन्वशात्।गुहस्तत्रैव पुरुषां स्त्वरितं दीयतामिति।।2.50.47।।

aśvānāṃ pratipānaṃ ca khādanaṃ caiva so ’nvaśāt |

guhas tatraiva puruṣāṃs tvaritaṃ dīyatām iti || 2.50.47 ||

Then Guha issued orders right there to his men: “Quickly provide the horses with drink and fodder.”

Guha ordered the men standing there Give these horses liquids like water and forage.

Dharma appears as prompt hospitality and responsible action—service is not merely sentiment but timely care for needs.

After Rama’s request, Guha immediately instructs his attendants to water and feed the horses.
