Shloka 2.24.15
कौशल्यारामसंवादः — Kausalya–Rama Dialogue on Exile-Dharma
एवमुक्तस्तु वचनं रामो धर्मभृतां वरः।भूयस्तामब्रवीद्वाक्यं मातरं भृशदुःखिताम्।।2.24.15।।
evam uktas tu vacanaṃ rāmo dharma-bhṛtāṃ varaḥ | bhūyas tām abravīd vākyaṃ mātaraṃ bhṛśa-duḥkhitām ||
Thus spoken to, Rāma—the foremost among upholders of dharma—again addressed his mother, who was steeped in sorrow.
Thus addressed, Rama, the foremost among upholders of righteousness, said to his mother who was in deep grief:
Dharma is framed as a stable identity: Rāma is characterized as one who consistently bears dharma, especially when guiding others through suffering.
The narrator signals that Rāma continues speaking, extending his guidance to his grieving mother.
