रामस्य राजमार्गगमनम् (Rama’s Progress along the Royal Highway)

Hearing these and other auspicious words spoken by his well-wishers—words that praised him—Rama remained detached and continued along the great road.
Indifferent to such warm words by his friends in his favour Rama passed along the highway.
Dharma here is self-mastery: Rama does not become intoxicated by praise, maintaining inner steadiness while continuing his duty-bound movement.
Rama is moving along the main road in Ayodhya while citizens and well-wishers speak favorably of him; he listens without attachment and proceeds onward.
Humility and detachment (udāsīnatā): he receives praise without vanity, showing disciplined restraint.
