For Rāma, an excellent yak-tail fan stood ready—its golden handle set with gems—radiant like the softly diffused beams of the moon.

Honey, curd, ghee, puffed grain, darbha grass, flowers and milk were arranged. Well-mannered courtesans adorned with all kinds of ornaments (stood in position).

Dharma is expressed as honoring rightful station with restraint and beauty: royal insignia are not mere luxury but symbols of responsibility and the public role that must be carried with truthfulness and propriety.

Items of royal attendance are prepared for Rāma, suggesting an imminent public appearance or ceremonial departure.

Rāma’s implied dignity (maryādā): the readiness of honorific service reflects the esteem attached to his righteous character and role.
