अभिषेकसज्जा तथा सुमन्त्रस्य प्रेषणम् (Coronation Preparations and Sumantra’s Commission)

सलाजाः क्षीरिभिश्छन्ना घटाः काञ्चनराजताः।।2.15.7।।पद्मोत्पलयुता भान्ति पूर्णाः परमवारिणा।

Transliteration

kṣaudraṃ dadhi ghṛtaṃ lājā darbhāḥ sumanasaḥ payaḥ || 2.15.8 ||

vēśyāś caiva śubhācārāḥ sarvābharaṇabhūṣitāḥ |

Translation

Honey, curds, ghee, puffed grain, darbha grass, flowers, and milk were set out; and courtesans as well—of noble conduct and adorned with every ornament—stood ready in attendance.
