Water was brought from the sacred confluence of the Gaṅgā and Yamunā, and also from other holy rivers, ponds, wells, and lakes—streams flowing eastward, upward, and winding—gathered from every side; and water was collected from all the seas as well.

Water had been fetched from the sacred confluence of Ganga and Yamuna, from other holy streams, wells, ponds and lakes, from rivers flowing eastward, westward, and zigzag, from rivers from all directions joined together. And from all the seas.
