O Kakutstha, may Soma and Sūrya, and also Śiva and Vaiśravaṇa, and Varuṇa, Agni, and Indra grant you victory.
O scion of the kakutsthas (Dasaratha), may Moon and Sun, Siva and Kubera, Varuna, Agni and Indra grant you victory!
Dharma is supported by cosmic order: invoking deities symbolizes that righteous rule seeks harmony with ṛta (moral-cosmic law) and not mere personal power.
Sumantra formally blesses the king with victory as part of waking and honoring him.
Piety and auspicious speech—using sacred invocation to frame royal action within dharma.
