सत्यपाशः — Kaikeyi’s Demand and the Noose of the King’s Promise

उत्तिष्ठाशु महाराज कृतकौतुकमङ्गलः।।।।विराजमानो वपुषा मेरोरिव दिवाकरः।

Transliteration

uttiṣṭhāśu mahārāja kṛtakautukamaṅgalaḥ |

virājamāno vapuṣā meror iva divākaraḥ ||

Translation

Rise quickly, O great king, adorned with auspicious festive rites, and shine in your form like the Sun upon Mount Meru.
