“Go now—I grant you leave. Be a devoted companion to Rāma; for by your sweet and truthful telling, I have been fully satisfied.”
With my permission you may go now and be a companion of Rama. I am thoroughly contented with your story told so sweetly.
Dharma here is loyal companionship grounded in satya—Sītā’s truthful, gentle speech earns trust and blessing, and her duty is affirmed as steadfast partnership with Rāma.
Anasūyā concludes the conversation, gives permission to depart, and instructs Sītā to remain Rāma’s devoted companion.
Sītā’s sweetness of speech and integrity (satya), and Anasūyā’s benevolent guidance rooted in dharma.
