ततोऽहं तत्र रामाय पित्रा सत्याभिसन्धिना।निश्चिता दातुमुद्यम्य जलभाजनमुत्तमम्।।2.118.50।।

Transliteration

sakṛd dṛṣṭāsv api strīṣu nṛpeṇa nṛpa-vatsalaḥ | mātṛ-vad vartate vīro mānam utsṛjya dharma-vit || 2.118.6 ||

Translation

Even those women whom the king had looked upon but once, heroic Rāma—devoted to the king and knowing dharma—sets aside pride and treats them as a mother.
